David DeVito Brooklyn Galway is a beautiful small city. I wouldn't spend much more than a couple days here, but it could be a good home base for day trips. Be warned that during the week, restaurants stops serving food by 10:00 and bars close by 11:00-11:30. Restaurants may look touristy but they serve surprisingly good food and most bars are fun with live music Definitely an old person tourist main drag. Callum Soukup-Croy Glasgow A small, charming city on the west coast of Ireland there is enough here to keep a visitor entertained here for a few days. The old high street is colourful and lively and the surrounding area exceptionally beautiful Susan L. Peters Baker Escondido Love Galway! Food, music. Walking tours, cruise the river. They have many festivals including literature, arts festival, and races. Child of Bohemia Cape Town Galway is for me the most beautiful city in Ireland. Has friendly people, good restaurants and interesting bars and he nature around city is just amazing.
