I have been working from home since last March. In August we all went on a rotating schedule and my day to go into the office has been Mondays. Again, I work from home the other 4 days a week. A few weeks ago I broke my ankle. The ortho wrote a note that I can't drive and should work from home. I had a follow up today and the doctor still says no driving. When I told my boss she said that she spoke with HR and I might have to use FMLA. I can't wrap my head around this. I have been working from home for months without any problems (also had a nice increase in productivity, but that's beside the point). But now that I can't go in ONE day a week for a few more weeks, that means I have to use FMLA?!?!? Does that make any sense? In case it's helpful, coverage is not an issue. Two of us went in each day so there is one person still going in on Mondays. And I have a colleague who prefers working in the office and she picked up the extra day for me while I can't drive.

Good morning, These events began to occur in 2018: My husband attempted suicide 3 times and was admitted twice in 2018/2019. I was working a job, and would call out frequently. The job was high stress. He served is now medically retired from the military. Would I have been able to take leave for this? He is in a better place now, but I would like to know what I can do to protect myself at work. I was constantly stressed. How would I be able to address this with HR if this were to occur again? What I eventually did late 2019 was take a call center job that was WFH. So an easy, boring, below my standars job. With my situation now: I am feeling overwhelmed with being recently diagnosed with a benign brain tumor. My symptoms began to intensify late 2019, I would become dizzy and would pass out often. I was taken to the hospital for a concussion. Just recently I started a treatment plan and the medication makes me extremely nauseaus, dizzy, and difficult to focus. Is there anything that I can provide to HR to show that I may need more frequent breaks?

I don't know if i could take care of a dog currently with my schedule. I've had dogs when i lived with my parents and they cause much more trouble than my cat ever did. Im having trouble looking into laws about getting a specific animal since most laws refer to dogs or already having the animal as a pet and getting them licensed as a emotional support animal. My question is, can the landlord only allow specific animals as emotional support animals or am I allowed to pick which one would work best for me? I am located in Frackville, PA.

But most of my cooking knowledge is Hispanic foods so that's part of why I wanted him to handle food when she is here since he knows how/what to get her to eat, while I'm still struggling/learning her taste and end up making backup meals when she doesn't like what I make originally. Final edit: Hey guys. My bf actually apologized this morning. And we had a discussion about finances and how he saw things currently. I broke everything down on a budget sheet and even looked at market rent for similar shared accommodations and offered for us to do a rent agreement until we decide to take the next step and split everything else accordingly, including me only contributing to proper utilities aside from rent. As I mentioned before, this meant he would get less money, so he admitted that it would not be beneficial for him and he saw why he was being a potato. We did agree we needed a more visual breakdown and will be working on a shared document and incorporating some suggestions from some of you guys.
Just want to say thank you for all your comments. I read pretty much all of them. And appreciate the feedback. Edit: Doing one more because people won't stop messaging me. People seem so caught up in me saying the food isn't spicy. Read the post. I altered my food and even stopped using the same spices, as well as started learning American recipes to accommodate her taste. I would never make her eat anything she can't tolerate. She is just a picky eater and even then I struggle to get her to eat. She is the type of kid that will turn away mashed potatoes and Mac&cheese, likes the bean "juice" but not the beans, and could live on fruit roll ups and popcorn alone if we let her. I get it. You all had bad experiences with people forcing you to eat stuff you don't tolerate. But just read the post. The second edit is literally me reiterating this point and all the messages honestly make me want to cook even less.
