Asking for a friend (really): My friend boarded a flight from Perth to Melbourne hours before WA entered its latest snap lockdown. The plane had technical problems before take off and passengers were left waiting on board of the aircraft for hours. My friend's ticket included a layover in Adelaide before arriving in Melbourne. The pilot notified passengers about the imminent lockdown while they were waiting. After over 2 hours, the plane finally took off to Adelaide. Upon arriving in Adelaide, my friend found out that in addition to the lockdown in WA, the Victorian government had decided to make WA a red zone, and arrivals from WA were forbidden effectively immediately. Due to the long delay, he missed the flight from Adelaide to Melbourne, and Virgin Australia could only accommodate him on a flight on the next day. Therefore, Virgin paid for an overnight hotel stay. While in Adelaide, my friend called the COVID Hotline of the Victorian government to ask if he could still finish his journey to Melbourne since he would have been allowed in if it weren't for the very delayed flight.

Fun Facts Camden Town is not a town at all, but actually more officially an inner city district of london. According to the Greater London Authority and the Mayor of London, Camden is included as one of the thirty-five major centres of London. Camden was named after the 1st Earl Camden, Charles Pratt, 18th Century Lawyer and Politician, who owned the estate Camden Place near Chislehurst in Kent. The Regent's Canal which runs through Camden Town was built in 1816. It was only as recently as the 20th Century that Camden Town actually started to be considered as fashionable. The Workshop Gastro Pub Pubs 7 1 The upstairs dining room is more formal and boasts nice views out over the river Liffey. The kitchen staff consistently serve up good quality, well cooked food from the somewhat short but well balanced menu. There is a great value 'pre-theater' for early diners Read more › It's a guaranteed good time, sipping a pint alongside the willow banked canal. Grab a Guinness and watch the locals stream in after work. O'Donoghue's Bar 10 2 There is nothing contrived or fake about this pub, they have a long history of good live music so it is not put on as a ploy to get tourists in the door. You will find more locals here than tourists and the pub is a popular post work spot for the many office workers in the area. L. The cutlery used to be all vintage but customers kept taking souvenirs so they had to run an amnesty to try and get it back.
